1. My narrative invites readers by giving information about myself that is relevant to the story.
2. I related events in sequence by giving detail before every major event.
3. I gave detailed descriptions of people places and things by giving details that were relevant to the story.
4. Toward the end of my narrative there is a huge contrast in plot were the story elevates it to a more intense level.
5. My narrative it written from my point of view.
6. My narrative doesn't really connection between past events, people, or places and the present, that is defiantly some thing i need to add.
7. Everything in my story points to one main idea, at the beginning things that seem pointless come back at the end to have great importance.

Helen Keller Narrative
1. What did you think of this narrative?
I enjoyed it because it showed the struggle that she had learning such basic things that we take for granted.
2. What was most interesting or engaging about it?
The way that her teacher taught helen words.
3. What surprised you?
It suprised me that helen was able to learn so fast.
4. Did this change your outlook on Helen Keller at all? Why or why not?
Not realy because i already knew a lot about her.
5. Copy and paste three examples of vivid detail and imagery that helped enhance the story
1 "tangible white darkness shut you in, and the great ship, tense and anxious, groped her way toward the shore with plummet and sounding-line, and you waited with beating heart for something to happen?"
2 "sun penetrated the mass of honeysuckle that covered the porch, and fell on my upturned face. "
3 "That living word awakened my soul, gave it light, hope, joy, set it free! There were barriers still, it is true, but barriers that could in time be swept away."
6. How can a narrative be more engaging than something like a biography? Why is it important to get someone's personal perspective?
A narrative gives the opinions of the person which alows you to feel what the person was feeling in the story.
7. Make a bulltted lists of some things you could write a narrative about
-skiing
-friends
-sports
-family storys

I Am From Poem
I am from small towns
but big adventures
I am from time outdoors
and crystal lake shores
Camping at Deer Creek with my family
cold nights in small tents
but warn fires to wake up to
fire made breakfast to start the day
give us energy to swim in the bay
I am from cold white ski slopes
slicing through snow with professional hopes
cold days riding on the hills
sipping hot chocolate to banish the chills
I from long airplane rides
sleeping and dreaming of Califrnia tides
spending all day on the beaches
and spending all night in citys.
